Pretendemos desarrollar el tema del título, fundamentalmente, en tres apartados. Después de una breve reflexión sobre la motivación a la lectura, para enmarcar en ella la puntuación, veremos, en el segundo apartado, la importancia y características de la primera frase de un texto (delimitada por el primer punto), teniendo en cuenta su longitud, contenido, sintaxis, puntuación y elementos paratextuales. Finalmente comentaremos algunos fenómenos de puntuación que pueden desanimar al lector.We intend to develop the topic of the title, basically, in three sections. After a brief discussion about the motivation to read, to frame it in the score, we shall see, in the second paragraph, the importance and characteristics of the first sentence of a text (enclosed by the first point), taking into account its length, content, syntax, punctuation and paratextual elements. Podría afirmarse que hay tres tipos de títulos: el del autor, el del vendedor y el del lector. Sin embargo, antes de estudiar esta tipología, nos detendremos en la equiparación entre título y texto, y finalizaremos con tres casos prácticos de lectura a partir de sus títulos: una obra de François Sagan, la última novela de García Márquez y un artículo de Vargas Llosa.We may affirm that there are three kinds of titles: author, seller, and reader titles. CONTIGÜIDADES DE RIESGO SINTÁCTICO, PROBLEMAS DE LECTURA Y SIGNOS DE PUNTUACIÓN

In the reading of a text, the proximity of segments and words may produce undesirable effects, contiguities that could lead from the known ambiguity to confusing, deceptive or surprising interpretations. The effects of such contiguities (not always as simple as in “Socks are sold for wooden gentlemen”) may be remedied normally in four ways: punctuating the sentence according to the rules, reinforcing the punctuation, creating remarks and relocating segments inside the sentence. Our research focuses specially in these four sections and they are illustrated with examples of the current press (not previous to 2016).Durante la lectura de un texto, la cercanía de segmentos y palabras puede producir efectos no deseables, contigüidades que podrían provocar desde la conocida ambigüedad a interpretaciones confusas, engañosas o sorprendentes. Los efectos de tales contigüidades (no siempre tan simples como en “Se venden calcetines para caballeros de lana”) pueden subsanarse normalmente de cuatro formas: puntuando la oración según la normativa, reforzando la puntuación, creando incisos y reubicando segmentos dentro de la oración. Nuestro trabajo se detiene especialmente en estos cuatro apartados y los ilustra con ejemplos de la prensa actual (no anteriores a 2016)
